DELIVERANCE AND HEALING
By PBS Ministries
The Word of God is often preached to you, but you continue to walk in darkness. The hour is coming when you will not have that opportunity to follow Christ and you will be cast into the fiery furnace to spend eternity, if you do not repent now.
Matthew 24:36-41 declare:
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.”
If Jesus comes today, will you be ready to receive Him? Can you say to Him, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith? Or will you say, wait! I need another chance to make it right? In these last days, we are to be prepared and ready for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Being ready means repenting of your sins, obeying Jesus’ commandments and abiding in His Word.
Salvation is free to all. When we receive a gift, it is already paid for by the giver. All we have to do is accept it with gratitude. If you confess your sins, Jesus is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. He paid the price for our sins over 2000 years ago. If you refuse to repent, you will likewise perish. God stands for holiness and righteousness. He will not compromise. It is either all of you, or none of you. No man can serve two masters, he will either love one and hate the other. God is extending His free gift to you, He is patiently waiting on you, will you accept Jesus today?
The Bible says the times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. No one knows the hour when Jesus will appear. In the days of Noah, many were eating and drinking and having fun until the flood came and took them all away. No one had a chance to repent. They would have heard the preached Word by Noah, but they continue to live in darkness.
Jesus is coming back for an obedient people. Have you kept His commandments? Have you loved the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind? Have you loved your neighbor as yourself? Jesus said in Luke 6:46, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” We have seen in the Bible that those that obeyed God were blessed and those that disobeyed were cursed. In 2 Samuel, we read how God rejected King Saul because of disobedience. Noah obeyed God and he was blessed. Abraham, Moses and Job obeyed God and they were blessed. Job received a double portion of blessings. Everything he had loss was restored to him two-folds because of obedience.
John 15:4-5 tell us, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” Jesus wants us to accept Him, to remain fixed in Him and to live according to His plan for our life. We abide in Christ by praying daily, reading the Word of God daily and meditating on His Word day and night. When we abide in Christ, we have the full confidence that we are His children, we begin to bear fruit and when Jesus appears, we have nothing to be ashamed of. Our fruit will be manifested: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
It is God’s desire that none shall perish, but that all should come to repentance. We serve a faithful, righteous and a loving God. A God who is patient and who demands righteousness and holiness from us. So, before it is too late, an invitation is extended to you to give your life to Jesus today. Tomorrow may be too late and tomorrow is promised to no one. We do not even know where we will be in the next hour. Only God knows.
Jesus is waiting on you to confess your sins, He is faithful to forgive you of your sins. Make today a new beginning in Christ. The time to come out of your dark situation is now. Jesus will cleanse you and make you whole, He will remember your sins no more, He wants to bless you so that you will reign with Him in eternity, if you should only accept Him today.
Please pray this prayer if you will like to accept Jesus into your life. Father, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I confess that I am a sinner and I repent and ask your forgiveness of my sins. Make me clean and whole as I surrender my entire life to serve you, in Jesus name, Amen.
