Reap what you sow

By Petal Barclay-Smith

I can rejoice because our God is awesome. He is compassionate, He is Holy and He is all powerful. There is no other God like our God. I can search for all eternity and find that there is no other like Almighty God, Creator of this universe, blessed be His Holy name.

The Lord God is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the God who is, who was and who is to come. He is our everlasting King. Our God hates sin. He judges the righteous and is angry with the wicked every day. Apostle Paul warns those who think they can get away with sin, he said, do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. So if you sow, hatred, you will reap hatred, if you sow corruption, you will reap corruption, if you sow deception, you will reap deception.

But, it is not God’s will that any shall perish. He gave us freely His only Son, Jesus Christ that we can receive Salvation only through Him by His shed blood at Calvary. Jesus’ Blood will wash away your sins, it will break every chain that have you bound to the wicked ways of this corrupt world.

Jesus is knocking on your heart’s door today. If you hear His voice and opens the door, He will enter and eat with you and you with Him. Do not harden your heart, for now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of Salvation. Would you accept Jesus as your Lord today? You must invite Him into your heart, ask Him to forgive you of your sins and to wash you in His cleansing Blood. Just surrender your entire life to Him and begin to live a new life in Christ Jesus. There shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.  Amen

Sins God Hates

Proverbs 6:16-19

There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him:
1. haughty eyes
2. a lying tongue
3.  hands that shed innocent blood
4.a heart that devises wicked schemes
5. feet that are quick to rush into evil
6.  a false witness who pours out lies
7.  and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

These are the things you are to do:

Zecariah 8:16-17

1.      Speak the truth to each other

2.      render true and sound judgment in your courts

3.       do not plot evil against each other

4.       and do not love to swear falsely.
