DELIVERANCE AND HEALING

Quit fleshy life

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

It does not matter which denomination you belong to, or how great in your eyes you may think your spiritual leader is,  one thing is for sure, no one church on the face on this earth has it all tied together neatly.  No one church is perfect.  But God is looking for perfection in us. God wants the body of Christ today to be holy. God is looking for a holy and righteous people.

Our prayer should be for God to open our blinded eyes so we can see the favoritism in churches today, so that we can see the persecution in churches today and so we can see the unholiness in some churches today. So when anyone thinks that his or her church has it all neatly packaged and is so spotless, think again. I can only bring to you what the Lord has  revealed to me. I am not here to bash any church. But if the Lord says to speak, I have to speak it. pursuing-holiness

The world is looking for Believers who will stand up for God’s truths, Believers who will call sin and sin and Believers who will not tolerate evil. But many times, the world is disappointed and grossly saddened by the character of Christians who continue to live in the flesh. In the past, God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. The acts of sinful nature that God condemns are sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, selfish ambition, envy, drunkenness and the like. These sins are so rampant in churches and it angers God.

The Lord is warning the church that those who live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Jesus tells us in Matthew, Chapter 7,verse 22,  “Many will say to Me in that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils, and in Thy name done many wonderful works?’ Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me you evildoers!”

Many professed Christians will be cast away on that day.  God is looking for clean vessels.  More depends on our walk than our talk.  No man can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. The time is coming church when there will be a cutting off of every branch that does not bear fruit.

We read in the Gospel of John Chapter 15, verses 5-6,  “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.” The day of reckoning is coming.  If we are in Christ, let us keep in step with the Spirit and bear fruit for Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Apostle John in his writing to the Church in Ephesus in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 2 declared, “ I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.” God is sounding this same warning to churches today.

Church, the Blood of Jesus has never lost it power. God wants Believers everywhere to repent of their sins and get back to their first love. There is no sin that is too big that God cannot cleanse you from.  Some people misunderstand the word ‘’repent”. Repent simply means a complete turning away from your wicked ways in your mind and heart and turning fully to God.  It does not mean asking for forgiveness today and next week you are practicing the same sin.

God wants us to totally surrender to Him. No more living in denial, no more living in pretense and falsehood. As Christians, let us have a heart for God. Let us be holy as our Heavenly Father is holy and let our lives bear fruit for Christ, so that we can inherit the Kingdom of God and live life eternally with our soon coming King.

I stand in agreement with A W Tozer when he said, “It is either all of Christ or none of Christ! I believe we need to preach again a whole Christ to the world – a Christ who does not need our apologies, a Christ who will not be divided, a Christ who will either be Lord of all or will not be Lord at all!”

As Believers, let us take a stand for the truth of God’s Word and live a life pleasing to God, Amen.

AMEN. Much has been said, Lord open our ears by the power of your Holy Spirit and give us a willing and repentant heart, where you can rest, that we may be a vessel of honor and glory for you only, Heavenly Father. I ask in Jesus name. My dear Sis I bless you and the ministry He has entrusted to you. Thank you so much!:)
